About Us
CRAFTSMANSHIP
WITH A PURPOSE
Today, Hollow Tree creates quality furniture, custom cabinetry, home accents, and specialty woodwork for clients in and around Winkler, Morden, and Altona, and throughout the Pembina Valley. From an unconventional space that calls for an inventive solution to a piece of furniture designed to become part of the family home, we recognize that no two projects are alike.
That individuality is part of what drives our work. Jerome approaches each project as an opportunity to understand the space, the people who use it, and the details that will make the finished piece feel entirely at home. The result is thoughtful custom woodwork shaped by equal attention to form, function, and longevity.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Quality Without Compromise: Materials and construction methods are chosen with longevity in mind – not simply to achieve the lowest possible price.
Thoughtful Design: Every detail has a reason. We consider how a piece looks, how it functions, and how naturally it belongs within the surrounding space.
Made for the Individual: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to custom woodwork. Each project responds to the client’s needs, preferences, dimensions, and vision.
Honest Communication: We believe clients should understand what they are investing in. Materials, costs, options, and recommendations are discussed openly throughout the process.
Creative Problem-Solving: Unusual dimensions and challenging spaces are opportunities to think differently and create something that an off-the-shelf solution simply cannot provide.
Craftsmanship That Endures: We create furniture and woodwork with the intention that it will be lived with, relied upon, and enjoyed well into the future.
JEROME PETERS
Owner & Craftsman
For Hollow Tree owner and craftsman Jerome Peters, custom woodworking is as much about solving problems as it is about building beautiful things.
He enjoys taking a challenging space or an individual idea and finding the balance between what looks exceptional and what works effortlessly in everyday life. Whether the aesthetic is modern or traditional, straightforward or distinctive, he takes pride in creating something worth keeping.
